Nordic Combined legend Jason Lamy Chappuis has to take a setback in his comeback in the Olympic winter of 2017/18. The Frenchman injured himself during a landing in the ski jumping part in Ruka and suffered a trauma to the right leg. The pain persisted throughout the Lillehammer weekend.
Medical examinations, which were conduced yesterday revealed a fissure of the right fibular head. The injury will be treated this Thursday and Lamy Chappuis will undergo rehabilitation in the national training centre in Albertville with the goal of returning to the World Cup in Val di Fiemme in early January 2018.
