On the occasion of the 83rd Austrian Ski Federation country conference in Bad Aussee, the nation’s successful Olympic athletes were honoured with a gala evening, among them, the Austrian team bronze medal winners in Nordic Combined Mario Seidl, Bernhard Gruber, Willi Denifl and double bronze medallist Lukas Klapfer. 

The athletes received the “Großes Goldenes Sportlerehrenzeichen” out of the hands of ski federation president Peter Schröcksnadel. At the same occasion, retired athletes were officially bid farewell, among them Nordic Combined’s Fabian Steindl.
