The member of the Executive Committee of the International Committee, President of the International Hockey Federation Rene Fazel gave his evaluation of the referendum at Graubunden.

We remind that people of this canton refused from biding the Olympic Games.

"If the Government of Switzerland will offer not 1 billion CHF but 3 billion, the result of the referendum would be another. This region needs funds for development of tourism. But if the sum is bigger many other cantons would also be interested. Switzerland doesn't have to build everything from the very beginning, as the infrastructure is mostly prepared for the Olympics".
