Russian specialists start using genetic technologies during preparation of athletes
Russian specialists develop a new sphere - usage of genetic technologies for preparation of athletes.
The Head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) Vladimir Uyba said that Russian specialists were inspired by experience of China in this sphere. “They (Chinese) formed the team squad for Beijing-2018 with athletes chosen during 15-16 years. Recently we finish production of Genetic passports for our athletes”.
He explained that attention should be paid at genetics from the very beginning, when children first come into sports.
