Cortina d'Ampezzo and Are bid for Alpine Skiing World Championship
Italian Cortina d'Ampezzo and Sweden Are made bids for holding the Alpine Skiing World Championship 2019.

At Are, were 95 courses are situated, the World Championship took place in 2007. The Sweden resort also bid for Championship-2017 but loosed to Swiss St. Moritz.
The Italian city, capital of the White Olympic Games 1956 got full support of the city authorities and of the Italian Ski Federation.
