Track and field specialist is appointed on a coach position of Estonian sprint skiers
The Swiss specialist Christoph Shmid was appointed the new Head coach of the Estonian national cross country sprint team.

The 55-year old coach signed a contract with the Estonian Ski Union. Shmid is commonly known as a specialist in track and field. His was a member of the coaching stuff of the Swiss national team for ten years, coached middle-distance runners, and his best athlete Andre Bushe became the World Champion in 800 m run in 2001.

We hope Shmid’s talent will bring us success. We could appoint many famous people, ten-time World Cup winners, but no one of them prepared a champion.
