The two-time World Champion in half-pipe skiing Swiss Virginie Faivre supports decision of Lausanne to bid for the Youth Winter Olympic Games.

She and several other athletes wrote a letter to the National Olympic Committee of Lausanne, in which she enlightened the importance of holding such events.

“Together we’ll help Lausanne to get the right to hold the Youth Olympic Games. It is an important project for the whole country and young athletes” – she wrote on her facebook wall.
