Alexandra Pretorious suffers knee injury
Alexandra Pretorius suffered a serious knee injury during training in France and will now be sidelined for several months.

The Canadian fell earlier this week during in a training jump in Courchevel, where the next competitions of the Summer Grand Prix will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. She probably tore her ACL and also suffered a mensicus injury.

The 17-year-old, who took her first win the Grand Prix in Courchevel last year and stood on top of the podium in Hinterzarten (GER) this summer, will now return to Calgary to undergo the necessary treatment.

"We were in Albertville for a first diagnosis. It's not clear yet, how serious the injury is. Alexandra will fly back to Canada tomorrow and then we will get an exact diagnosis. In the worst case she will be out for the whole next winter, in the best case we will see her jumping again in January", said coach Greg Linsig.
