Work is underway on implementation of the project of creating of Joint Training Center at the Sakhalin Region.

The Russian national team will get the possibility to prepare for the Olympic Games-2018 at the Sakhalin Region. It was stated at a meeting of the Head the Region Aleksandr Khoroshavin with the Race Director of the FIS Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Committee Walter Hofer.
