Full snow cover in Levi Black
The main arena for the Audi FIS World Cup Slalom Opening, Levi Black has almost a full snow cover. Snow making has been going on less than one week but thanks to the efficient snow making system the coverage is good.

"At this moment approximately 90 percent of snow has been made. This amount of snow is practically enough", says Hannu Mäkitalo, chief of slopes for the Levi Ski Resort.

The snowmaking will continue in the upcoming days and even though the weather forecast is getting warmer on Wednesday some natural snow falls are possible as well.

"The weather and conditions for snowmaking has been very good. Also the snow making system and event organization has worked properly", Mäkitalo continues.

This is great news as the official FIS snow control date is scheduled for the 7th of November.
