Exhibition of first USSR Champion in alpine skiing is open in Moscow
In the capital of Russia a big exhibition of photographer Vadim Gippenreiter “Zapovednaya Rossiya” is open.
Gippenreiter, who became 97 this year, is the first in a history and a three-time USSR champion in alpine skiing. He is also the first one in USSR to go up and down Elbrus on alpine skis.
Vadim Gippenreiter is famous not only because of his sport career, he is also a great photographer. He owns the Orden of Merit and a status of a member of the Union of Photographers.
