Reconstruction and modernization started in March 2016, now the "Grosse Titlis" hill in Engelberg (SUI) is ready for the next years on the ski jumping World Cup calendar of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

The 2016-2017 season marks the 50th anniversary of the FIS Alpine World Cup.

The traditional ladies' and men's Giant Slalom are confirmed on 22nd and 23rd October on the Rettenbach Glacier in Sölden (AUT).
