


The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) held its annual Congress in Park City (USA) from 11th-15th May 2016.


Frederic Zoz, who was previously the head coach of the French ladies' team, will now start working with the Turkish ski jumpers.

World Champion from 2011 Matti Heikkinen has moved to Oslo to train with Norwegian skiers and prepare for the home World Championships in Lahti.

German Ronny Hornschuh is the new head coach of the Swiss ski jumpers and in this position the successor of Pipo Schoedler, who resigned after the last season.

At the conclusion of the inaugural ‘National Schools Snow Sport Week sponsored by Visit Andorra’, 1,066 children and 149 schools got involved in the Snow Sport England initiative.



Rune Velta experienced the ups and downs of elite sports recently. After a amazing 2014/15 season, he was not able to follow up these great performances last winter.

While many athletes are still enjoying the last bit of winter in several spring training camps, the Snowboard World Cup circuit has had a number of retirements following the 2015/16 season.
