For our interview series “FIS Ski Jumping-Talk” we speak to Ski Jumping athletes and officials. Today: Simon Ammann, four time Olympic Champion and winner of both competitions in Kuusamo last weekend.

Anze Lanisek, who fell in the second competition in Kuusamo, will not be able to take part in the next World Cups in Lillehammer (NOR) on the upcoming weekend.

Good news come from Anze Lanisek and Andreas Wellinger, who had heavy falls in Saturday's competition in Ruka. According to first medical checks, both didn't suffer any serious injures.

The first competition weekend of the season is history and now the Nordic Combined World Cup is off to its second stop: Lillehammer, Norway. From the snow side of things, everything is looking good for the next competitions.

For the second consecutive year, Klingenthal’s Vogtland arena was the site of the opening competitions of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup presented by Viessmann. More than 17,000 spectators attended the team and individual events on 22nd and 23rd November which were filled with excitement.

It is full speed ahead for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup races in North America as Lake Louise (CAN), Aspen and Beaver Creek (both USA) are all ready to welcome the world’s top Alpine skiers.
