World Cup calendar, Grand Prix calendar and an extended equipment control
At the traditional spring meeting of the FIS Ski Jumping Sub-Committees in Zurich, the provisional competition calendars for the men's and ladies' Grand Prix 2015, the COC 2015 and the World Cup 2015/16 were announced.

You can find all the calendars on Fis-Ski.com.

The winter calendar for the men's Continental Cup will be published at the FIS calendar conference (June 1st - 6th) in Varna (BUL). Also the calendars, that were already announced in Zurich, have to be confirmed at the calendar conference in Varna, until then all the calendars are not official yet.

There will be a change/extension of the equipment control in men's and ladies' ski jumping. In addition to the system used in the past, where the equipment of drawn athletes is checked after the jump, there will be an additional control at the start.

Right before every jump the crotch length of the athlete resp. the jumping suit will be measured. It is not allowed to make any changes to the suit before the start after the measuring. This additional control will be performed by especially trained officials. The reference values of the athletes will be collected and archived at the beginning of the summer at COC and Grand Prix competitions.

The new measuring will start with the first event of the summer season on July 4th, 2015 at the COC in Kranj (SLO). The additional measuring will then be analyzed at the end of the summer, then a decision will be made about the proceedings in the upcoming winter.
