Grass Skiing Updates
With two important events coming up – the Junior World Championships in Stitna (CZE) and the World Championships in Tambre (ITA) – Grass Skiing is looking ahead to an exciting summer.
A new initiative has been introduced to support the combination of sports and education at the business school in Stegersbach (AUT), where Grass skiers can now receive a diploma in the field of sports management.
In addition, the National Ski Associations are sharing concepts to help to promote junior talent and recruiting youth skiers.
Earlier this spring, the Committee met in Milan (ITA) from 17th-19th April 2015 to establish Working Groups with a key task of harmonising and developing relations between traditional and newer Grass Ski nations.
Furthermore, the Committee organised a Technical Delegate seminar to provide updates and equip Alpine TDs with the necessary skills to serve as Grass Skiing TDs during summer.
