

As part of the FIS Development Programme, the traditional FIS Nordic Summer Training Camp recently started in Stams (AUT). The athletes from Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined opened the camp on 8th September and moved to Val di Fiemme (ITA) on 11th September to join the Cross-Country participants who started their camp two days earlier.
More than 20 athletes and eight coaches in Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined are benefitting from the experience of Kimmo Savolainen and Sandra Sambugaro who are leading the group. With 25 athletes and 10 coaches Cross-Country brought the largest delegation.
Sandro Pertile, Training Camp Coordinator reports: “We have 14 nations represented and all participants are very motivated. We have an excellent training centre here in Val di Fiemme, which allow us to stage a huge variety of activities.”
The Summer Camp will conclude on 20th September.
