At the traditional fall meetings of the International Ski Federation FIS, the committees and sub-committees of the various disciplines convened in Zurich this week.

There the drafts of the World Cup calendars for the 2016/17 season, as well as the FIS Grand Prix 2016, were presented. All of these calendars are still provisional and the dates and venues are still subject to change.

Measuring at the start also in winter

Among other issues, the new control point at the start, which was tested during this year's Grand Prix, was analyzed at these meetings.

The measuring of the crotch length before the jump is considered positive by athletes, coaches and all officials. This means that there will also be a control point at the start in the upcoming winter.
