Every two years, the FIS SnowKidz Award is presented and has become a highlight of the programme.
On 1st October applications for the 2016 FIS SnowKidz Award were sent to all National Ski Associations. Each National Ski Association has until 15th February to submit the nominations from their country. National Ski Associations may choose events staged by them, or other independent Organisers from their country.
Independent Organisers may contact FIS SnowKidz at snowkidz@fisski.com to obtain the contact person at their National Ski Association responsible for the nomination.
To assist Organisers and National Ski Associations in preparing their nominations, case studies of the previous winners have been developed. These can be accessed by clicking here.
Following the submission of nominations, an independent judging panel will analyse the nominees. The top-eight will be selected and will receive CHF 5,000. A second round of judging of the top-eight will be conducted to select the top three. They will receive additional awards to support their future SnowKidz activities. 3rd place will take home CHF 5,000, 2nd place CHF 8,000 and 1st place CHF 10,000.
