The FIS Calendar Conference 2017 will begin next week with the first meetings on Wednesday, 24th May in Portoroz (SLO). During the week, some sixty meetings of FIS Technical Committees, Sub-Committees, Working Groups and numerous informal gatherings will take place to discuss issues related to the development of ski and snowboard sports.
Portoroz, the host of the FIS Congress in 2002 and the FIS Calendar Conference in 1999 and 2007, provides excellent conditions with the Grand Hotel Resort Bernadin for the FIS family to convene.
Current weather is pleasant and it is expected to stay warm with temperatures of up to around 25° C with a risk of rain showers.
Invitation to Welcome Evening
On Wednesday, 24th May at 20:15 CET, the conference participants are cordially invited to a welcome evening at Grand Hotel Bernadin on invitation of the Slovenian Ski Association.
