An international Symposium on Winter Sports Medicine has been scheduled to take place on 25thFebruary in conjunction with the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld (AUT). All medical staff accreditedas team physicians, team physiotherapists and all other interested physiciansare invited to participate. Entry is free of charge.

Organised by Seefeld 2019 Chief Medical Officer Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schobersberger and Dr. Hubert Hörterer, Chairman of the FIS Medical Committee, topics of presentations and workshops will range from returning to sports after concussion and knee injuries, to injuries during Olympic Winter Games, to high altitude training as a performance enhancing method, recent advances in sports drug testing approaches and jet leg management. Lecturers come from Austria, Norway, Germany and Italy.
