One month to go: FIS Freestyle Worlds in Voss
More than 300 athletes are expected to determine who is best in the world of Freestyle Skiing in five title competitions from 5th-10th March. The Championships will be hosted both in Oslo and Myrkdalen, 25km from the town center of Voss.

Over the past month, the Voss Organising Committee headed by CEO Trond Syversen has been investing major efforts into finalising preparations, including overseeing the latest construction works of the four different finish areas and ensuring high quality live broadcast coverage on four continents (North America, South America, Asia and Europe).

The first final of the World Championships will take place in the Oslo Vinterpark Superpipe. The building of the massive superpipe by a local crew is steadily progressing to attract the world’s attention on 5th March.

Brand new Freestyle arena in Voss-Myrkdalen

The Voss 2013 Organisers recently announced the finishing of the brand new freestyle arena in Voss-Myrkdalen which is situated at 600 metres and more above sea level and will be hosting the World Championship competitions in moguls, dual moguls, aerials, ski cross and ski slopestyle.

The popular freestyle outfit is back! The World Championships collection consists of jackets, headband and beanies in blue and black colours and is available for purchase in Norwegian shops.
