FIS World Championships Candidates 2019 present to Council
The final push is on for the seven candidates to host the FIS World Championships in 2018/2019. Four Nordic, two Alpine and one Freestyle Skiing/Snowboarding Candidates made their final presentations to the FIS Council on 3rd June 2014.

The presentations were as diverse as the bids. Each of the Candidates was given a 15-minute window to convince the FIS Council why they should host the 2019 World Championships. It was an exciting afternoon for both the Candidates and Council Members as the presentations were of a very high quality.

The seven Candidates continued to interact with delegates at their exhibition stands, which have become a magnet of activity for the Congress participants with personalities from each of the Candidates enthusiastically sharing information about the bids.

The Council will elect the 2018/2019 Organisers on Thursday. The results of the decision will be announced at a Cocktail Reception at 18:30 the same day. For those who cannot attend the reception, the announcement will also be streamed live on the FIS website.
