Vail-Beaver Creek 2015 unveils second World Championship poster
The 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will soon sport a new fresh look as Official Artist, Carrie Fell recently completed the artwork that will be utilized for the second World Championships poster entitled “Hang Time”.

The original artwork features a combination of acrylic and oil, highlighted with Fell’s trademark vibrant colors and fluid forms. Fell will produce four distinct pieces for use as 2015 event posters.

“Hang Time is the moment when the skier leaves the ground,” offered Fell, “when the instant takes hold and allows the racer to calculate exactly the best possible landing position to ensure their competitive edge. Purple is symbolic of power and for me, it means living in the present with mystery and magic.”

The first poster in the series was titled “Effective Edge” which now adorns an Eagle County bus as a rolling promotion of the Championships. Additional Fell artwork is planned for future Vail and Beaver Creek bus wraps.
