The Korea Ski Association (KSA) named Dong-bin Shin as its 20th President last week. Dong-bin Shin is the Chairman of the Lotte Group, one of the best global enterprises in Korea.

A former Alpine ski racer, Shin has promised to fully support the Korean Ski Association during his three-year term, which will last through the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. He aims to boost the popularity of skiing among Koreans in the next three years and after the home Olympics.

With the inauguration of the new President, the future looks bright for KSA as it prepares its way towards the POCOG. KSA will aim for higher goals and achieve significant improvement in athlete performance in 2018.
