The second Audi ski cross World Cup event of the season, scheduled to take place from December 11-13 in Val Thorens (FRA), has been postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions in the region.

The competition has been rescheduled for the second week of January, 2015, with exact dates to be announced in the coming days.

In the 2013/14 season the Audi ski cross World Cup held three competitions over the course of two December and January at Val Thorens, as the resort's top-level course and sustained snowpack made it the perfect venue to step in as a host when other resorts in Europe were experiencing less than ideal weather situations.

If conditions improve in the near future we should be able to look forward to another set of exciting races at what has become one of the great stops on the Audi ski cross World Cup tour.
