Green light for the 3 competition weekend in Val di Fiemme! The FIS snow control was positive, controller Sandro Pertile confirmed that Val di Fiemme is ready to host the three planned races on the upcoming Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The two Individual Gundersen competitions will be held on the 2.5 kilometre Tour de Ski track which is covered with hard and compact artificial snow and in perfect condition. The same goes for the 1.5 kilometre Team Sprint track.

The work is still continuing on the jumping hill as the snow production has just been competed but everything will be ready in time, as Sports Director Cristina Bellante reports.

As Val di Fiemme is taking over one of the competitions of the cancelled Liberec-weekend, the athletes will get to enjoy the good conditions for three days in a row. „It is never nice when an Organizing Committee is forced to give up the organisation of their competitions“, Bellante continues. „We appreciate it a lot that FIS has asked Val di Fiemme to jump in. Of course it would have been better if we could organize also the second Nordic Combined race here but taken the time situation on the weekend into consideration this was the best possible solution.“
