FIS Rollerski 2015 season summary
6 November 2015
The FIS Rollerski competition season started in Stockholm on 26th June and season ended in São Carlos (Brasil) on 2nd November. The total number of participants in this summer FIS Rollerski events exceeded 500 athletes from 24 nations with 2 newcomers nations - Mongolia and Brazil.
Opening FIS competitions in Beitostolen get green light

The Norwegian National opening FIS competitions will go as planned 13-15 November in Beitostolen. Many World Cup teams travel to Beitostolen for early season snow and to begin their competitive seasons.

The FIS Council will hold its Autumn Meeting in accordance with tradition at the FIS Office in Oberhofen (SUI) on Saturday, 7th November 2015.
FIS President opens Skipass exhibition

FIS President Gian Franco Kasper recently opened the Skipass exhibition in Modena (ITA), the biggest exhibition in Italy to promote winter sports and tourism which was held from 29th October – 1st November 2015.
Ladies’ and men’s competitions cancelled in Levi

10 days before each World Cup event, the FIS conducts a snow control on the race slopes to determine whether the competitions can take place or not. After an exceptionally warm autumn in Finland, the conditions were delicate in Levi. On 5th November, day of the official snow control, Race Director Markus Mayr went on site and evaluated the situation.
Snow canons come to life in Ruka

St Moritz 2017 gets ready for Season Finals

2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championship hosts St. Moritz held its final Coordination Group meeting before it hosts the 2016 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Season Finals in March, which will serve as the Test Event for the Championships.
