On 25th April 2017, the International Olympic Committee announced the composition of its working commissions for 2017 which guide the IOC and the Organising Committees for the Olympic Games in their missions.
FIS President Gian Franco Kasper will continue to serve on the Coordination Commissions for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games Pyeongchang 2018 and XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. He also remains as a member of the Olympic Channel Commission and serves as Vice-President of Olympic Channel Services S.A.
Additionally, Sarah Lewis, FIS Secretary General continues to serve on the Olympic Programme Commission and the Coordination Commission for the 3rd Winter Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020 as well as representing the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF) in the PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022 IOC Coordination Commissions.
Alfons Hoermann, FIS Council Member and President of the German NOC is a member of the IOC Marketing Commission.
