Dmitriy Chernyshenko: “Booking of the tickets to the OG Sochi-2014 is going incredibly fast”
The Organizing Committee Sochi-2014 didn't expect the first portion of tickets to be sold so fast.
It was stated by the President of the Organizing Committee Sochi-2014 Dmitriy Chernyshenko. The first portion of tickets was brought to the market in a year before the start of the Olympic Games and they were sold in several hours.
"We expected the demand to be very high. We made researches. But the real situatian overcame our most optimistic expectattions. The first portion of tickets was sold in several hours. I would like to calm spectators, there are still tickets left and they will go on sale gradually".
Due to Cheryshenko's words "a lot of tickets cheaper than 1 500 rubles were sold". "Tickets are sold at reasonable prices, as we took into account the real demand of national consumers".
