The Government of Georgia doesn’t have the decision whether Georgian athletes will participate in Olympic Games Sochi-2014.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani:

“There is a position that Georgia will not boycott the Olympic Games at Sochi, but the Government hasn’t decided whether athletes will participate. The decision will be announced soon”.

Meanwhile the head of Georgian Olympic Committee Leri Khabelov announced on the 1st of April that the Government has already made a positive decision. Due to his words sports federations of Georgia will hold a meeting on 2d April, on which will discuss their opinions on these matters.
