The Executive Committee of the Russian Olympic Committee accepted the initiative of producing a virtual Olympic museum.

The developers of the project are the Academic teaching and research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow State University and ANO “Sportivnoye Veshaniye”.

The electronic museum differs from the regular one and it has several advantages: it can be “visited” by people from almost every region of the world, it has comfortable navigation system, exposition can include an unlimited number of pieces.
