Dmitry Chernyshenko discussed Sochi 2014 preparations at the 125th IOC Session
Dmitry Chernyshenko, President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, spoke at the 125th Session of the International Olympic Committee in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ahead of the 10th and final visit of the IOC Coordination Commission to Sochi (September 24-26, 2013), the speech focused on a range of issues regarding the preparation and staging of the 2014 Games.

The successful completion of the Test Events has confirmed Sochi is thoroughly prepared for the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Over the past year, top-level international tournaments were held in all 15 Olympic disciplines and 5 Paralympic sports at ten Sochi 2014 competition venues.

The speech of Dmitry Chernyshenko has touched upon all the main aspects of preparation for the 2014 Games. To test the level of readiness and cooperation of all Games management bodies, large-scale exercises will be held in Sochi on September 16, 2013. These exercises will involve representatives of the State Commission for the Preparation and Staging of the Games, the IOC executives, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee and other organizations.

The President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko, commented:
