Experience of weather forecasting in Sochi will improve the service for the whole Russia.

The director of the Russian hydrometeorological center Roman Vilfand shared this opinion. “After the Olympic Games the quality of meteorological forecasts will become higher in Russia, because forecasting of weather in mountains is the hardest task ”.

Vilfand said that the Russian hydrometeorological center organized an international project under aegis of the International meteorological organization with Canada, USA, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Germany.
