Swiss snowboard freestyle championships
The last event of a long FIS Snowboard season staged in Corvatsch last weekend brought not only the last decisions in the race for the slopestyle Europa Cup title race but also a total of six Swiss National medal events!
In slopestyle, Carla Somaini took home the honour leading a Swiss podium sweep ahead of Celia Petrig and Elena Koenz.
On the men's side of things, Lucien Koch took the title ahead of Jonas Boesiger.
And it was also Koch who came out successfully of the big air event with Dario Burch and Michael Schaerer placing second and third respectively.
In the women's contest, Koenz lived up to the expectation as the reigning world champion also taking home the gold in the national championships event while Swiss halfpipe title went to Verena Rohrer and Patrick Burgener.
