Riiber makes the Norwegian A-team
The Norwegian Ski Federation has named their Nordic Combined A-team for the season of 2015/16 and next to the six athletes who went to the World Championships in Falun last year, 17-year-old Jarl Riiber has also made the cut.
„Jarl made the team because of many good performances in the winter. He is an exciting young athlete with a good attitude and a top level of performance in the jumping part. We are looking forward to having him on the A-team“, sports director Sverre Rotevatn explains.
The team youngster is of course very satisfied with this development: „I was very excited about the team selection and it’s great to get this acknowledgement. This is what I am working for and I look at the upcoming season as a time to gather experiences. I will be matched with the best in the training camps and I can’t wait to get started.“
The coaching staff will remain the same with Bjoern Kaare Ingebrigtsen as head coach, Nik Huber as jumping coach and Stein Vidar Thun as cross-country coach and physiotherapist.
The first training camp will take place in Trondheim at the end of May. The Junior and B-teams will be selected later.

Jan Schmid
Mikko Kokslien
Magnus Moan
Haavard Klemetsen

Jarl Magnus Riiber
Additional athletes:
