Summer Grand Prix without Team Norway
The Norwegian Nordic Combined team will focus on training at home in Norway before the season start in Ruka, Finland in November. The season preparation is well under way and after the first Norges Cup competitions have taken place on the last weekend, the training plans for the next months have been published.

On schedule are many training camps within Norway: The A team will have camps in Trondheim in July and August and the traditional KK-weekend will take place in Lillehammer in mid-September. Another camp in Trondheim is scheduled at the beginning of October before the team will head to Oberhof, Germany for a compact week of training, probably also in the famous ski tunnel. Some more snow kilometres will be collected in a cross-country training camp at the end of October/beginning of November and a final camp including the national championships will be held in Oslo/Beitostølen in mid-November.

„We are in a challenging financial situation but we still have all opportunities for the world’s best training. We would have liked to participate in the Summer Grand Prix and compare our levels of performance to the other nations but it is the daily training which will decide how good we will be in the winter. We have really competent staff and great all-year facilities in Oslo, Trondheim and Lillehammer. Our goal is to fight for podium positions in every single race next winter“, Sports Director Sverre Rotevatn explains his planning
