FIS Rollerski World Cup gets underway this weekend
This year’s FIS Rollerski World Cup series will feature three World Cup stops along with the Rollerski World Championships in Val di Fiemme (ITA).
This weekend, the Rollerski World Cup gets going in Oroslavje (CRO) with mass start competitions in free technique, sprint free and a 7 km classic uphill race. After the competitions in Croatia, the series will move to Madona (LAT) and conclude in August in Bad Peterstal (GER).
Marcus Johansson (SWE) and Ksenia Konohova (RUS) will be among the ones to watch, as they are looking to defend their World Cup titles from last season.
The season will see its major highlight in Val di Fiemme with World Championships from 24th - 27th September.
