FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup underway
This year’s FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup started in Kranj (SLO). The series provides high level competitions for future champions to develop their skills and from time to time measure themselves against the current leading athletes.
25-year-old Dawid Kubacki (POL) won the first two summer competitions and is currently leading the rankings with 200 points ahead of Peter Prevc (SLO, 140) and Karl Geiger (GER, 120). This year’s series is again mixed with young guns and experienced World Cup athletes, including Prevc and Jakub Janda (CZE).
The next two competitions will be held on 8th and 9th August in Wisla (POL). Meanwhile, the ladies’ calendar foresees two stops in Oberwiesenthal (GER) and Oslo (NOR) on 28th-29th August and 19th-20th September.
