Kimmo Yliriesto new assistant coach of the Korean team
The South Korean national team of head coach Wolfgang Hartmann will start the upcoming season with a new assistant coach.
Finn Kimmo Yliriesto will work as coach and technician for the team and shall support it on its way to the next Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018.
The 32-year-old, who was coaching young athletes in his home club in Kouvola so far, was Wolfgang Hartmann's preferred candidate for this position for a long time already.
Kimmo Yliriesto was competing in the World Cup from 2000 to 2010, his best result in an individual competition was a seventh place in Sapporo 2005, 2002 he was on the podium in third in a team event in Sapporo. At the Junior World Championships 2001 Yliriesto won Gold with the Finnish team.
