Yesterday, 19th February, FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup finished at Sochi.

64 competition finals are held in Sochi during the pre-Olympic test events in the season 2012/13 (taking into account the cancelled freestyle skiing and snowboard competitions). At recent moment 42 of 64 competitions have already been held. Russian national team is at 4th place in the overall team standings, it has 13 podiums: 3 “gold”, 6 “silver” and 4 “bronze”. Austrian national team leads the rating (7-1-4), then go Americans (6-7-2), third - Chineese (5-3-2).

For the recent moment World Cups finished, Gran Prix in nine sports of twelve took place (in hockey, curling and alpine skiing the competitions of the sports elite are not to be held in the pre-olympic season) - in figure skating, snowboarding, bobsleigh, skeleton, skiatlon, ski-jumping, nordic combined, short track speed skating, freestyle skiing.

The top ten in the overall team standings is: Austria, USA, China, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, South Corea, Germany, Norway.
