Cross-country skier Alexander Legkov won the spectators voting in “Golden Podium” project  on TV channel “Rossiya”.

In the final round he got 52% of votes and was called the best athlete of March 2013. He outperformed Olga Fatkulina, who represents skating.

Previous season Legkov won the prestige cross-country multi-day race “Tour de Ski”, lead the World cup rating in distance disciplines and pretended to become the leader of the overall rating.
