Yesterday, 25th July, at Sofia Square of Great Novgorod a opening ceremony of IVth stage of the World Cup in roller skis took place.

It’s not a coincidence that this city hosts the World Cup. A third part of the whole number of athletes of the Russian national team is the skiers from this city. They regularly achieve World Cups podiums and Elena Rodina became the World Champion 2009.

More than 100 athletes from 12 countries will take part in the competition.
