David Zauner back on the hill
After he tore his ACL last December and had to undergo surgery, David Zauner was now able to return ot the hill after a long break.

The Austrian made his first jumps this week in Ramsau am Dachstein and was very satisfied with his comeback. "I didn't sleep very well before the first jump because you never know how it'll be, if it will hurt or not. But everything worked out great and I'm super happy right now."

Despite two serious knee injuries in the past years, the former nordic combined athlete never had motivational problems. "I hope that I'll get rewarded for the hard work some time", said the 28-year-old, who wants to start competing again already this summer.

"Next week we will have a training camp in Oberstdorf, late August we will go to Lillehammer for a week, the national team will also take part in this camp. Then we will see how my shape is. My goal is to participate in one or the other competition this summer, of course I would like to take part in the Grand Prix in Hinzenbach."
