The Russian alpine skier Yelena Yakovishina took part in official FIS competitions in Super-G and Combination.

She won “silver” in super-G and “gold” in combination. The win is all the more so significant that the German national team had its leading squad including: Maria Höfl-Riesch and Viktoria Rebensburg.
