We remind that Zavarzina who won gold medal at World Championships-2011 in parallel giant slalom broke her hand at a World Cup competition in Austrian Bad Gastein.

“The surgery was successful but there is still a risk for her of skipping the Olympics – says the Vice-President of the Alpine Skiing and Snowboard Federation Leonid Melnikov, - her situation becomes more complicated, as younger athletes show better results”.
