Olympic Games - Bilodeau bags moguls World Cup win in Lake Placid
Canadian Bilodeau plans to retire after the Sochi Olympics, and he could go out with a bang if his latest performance is anything to go by.

Bilodeau led a trio of American skiers with Patrick Deneen and Bradley Wilson finishing second and third respectively, meaning compatriot Bryon Wilson just missed out on a podium spot in fourth.

But while he missed out on top spot in Lake Placid Deneen was able to celebrate still as he result was good enough to see him book a spot at the Sochi Olympics.

Bilodeau jumped back to the top of the World Cup moguls leaderboard with the win, moving on to 440 points, 20 ahead of compatriot Michael Kingsbury while Deneen sits third on 270.

And it was a Canadian double in Lake Placid as Bilodeau's compatriot Justine Dufour-Lapointe won the women's competition, with Heidi Kloser and Hannah Kearney of America finishing second and third respectively.

Kearney still sits atop the World Cup standings on 440 points but her lead has been cut with Dufour-Lapointe now just 84 behind in second.
