Day two of competition in the first Finnish Cup races of the season in Vuokatti consisted of club relay's following yesterday's sprint event.

Rising Finnish Olympic star Iivo Niskanen had to dig deep in the men's 3x6 km relay to hold off a hard charging Lauri Lepistö on the final leg to win by 0.2 seconds for his team. Join him on top of the podium was World Cup sprinter Martti Jylhä and Mikko Koutaniemi.

In the ladies' 3x4 km relay, the team of Laura Mononen, Anni Kainulainen and Maija Hakala cruised to a +11.3 second victory. This event marked the start of the competition season for Anne Kyllönen, who lead off for her club and came in with the lead pack after returning from a stress fracture in her foot.
