Season start for FIS Telemark World Cup
The FIS Telemark World Cup season 2014/15 commenced in Hintertux (AUT) from 28th-30th November with a three-event programme.

On day one, two sprint races were scheduled and saw last season’s World Cup champion Amelie Reymond (SUI) and Philippe Lau (FRA) topping the podium.

The following day featured another edition of sprint races and Reymond again raced to victory while last season’s dominator Tobias Mueller (GER) came out victorious in the men’s edition.

On the final day of competition, a parallel sprint was held to the great excitement of the many spectators on-site. Reymond and Mueller both won the head-to-head battles and solidified their spots as the ones to beat throughout the season.

The tour will now travel to Bad Hindelang (GER), Golte (SLO) and Rauris (AUT) before it reaches its season highlight with the FIS Telemark & Junior World Championships in Steamboat Springs (USA) from 23rd-27th February 2015. After the World Championships, it continues with World Cup events in Thyon and Mürren/Schilthorn (SUI). The finals will be held in Rjukan (NOR) from 19th-21st March 2015.
