Carezza OC can't wait for things to kick off
It's the fourth time in a row now, the world's best raceboarders will travel to South Tyrol to compete in the winter sport resort of Carezza. With less than ten days to go to the parallel giant slalom scheduled for Dec 13th, Local Organisers are at the ready while also been forced to pray for some colder weather.

Right now, there is almost no snow on the Pra di Tori Slope at Karerpass. Nevertheless the preparations are running at full speed.

“We have a lack of snow right now but we expect the temperatures to drop within the next days. Then we can start our final preparations,” said Georg Eisath of the local Organising Committee.

The CEO of the ski area adds: “We are not starting to panic. We will have a good World Cup show again.”

Especially as Organisers only have to concentrate on one competition day. Other than the years before, when two races were hosted, the OC and FIS had agreed on running just one parallel event.

Qualifiers for the PGS will start on Dec 13th at 8:45 AM CET with the finals scheduled for 12:30 PM CET.

The Public Bib Draw will take place Friday night (Dec 12th) in the Grand Hotel Carezza at 6 PM CET as in the years before.
